So over the weekend I got an e-mail that my college fraternity has been suspended indefinitely for several unspecified "violations of the [national] Fraternity's standards." It got sent to a HUGE e-mail list and of course everyone is hitting "reply all" to discuss it.
Now I went to a very small liberal arts college in a mostly backwards southern state and the frat is even smaller and more backwards. I'd say during the last twenty years, the frat hasn't had more than 35 members at a time and that's being generous.
But what we lacked in quality we made up for in quantity. Lots of lawyers are alumni of my fraternity, and even a few doctors.
But one guy in the e-mail list I had no idea about. This one guy is rich, powerful, and responsible for a good portion of traffic on the internet. More importantly, he is literally responsible for entertaining millions of lonely men (and some women).
That guy is the founder and CEO of Brazzers. Yes, THAT Brazzers.
How do I know? He signs his e-mails with "CEO and Founder / Brazzers.com".
Now it could be a joke. Surely I would have heard about it, right?
Should I comment on it to the e-mail list? "Hey, love your work! Brazzers has gotten me through many a cold and lonely night!"

The girl I dated, Thea was her name, was simply put, the biggest freak I've ever met. I was friends with her roommate, who introduced us. I was a senior and she was a sophomore.
