I hate scUM fans for their incredible lack of fashion sense, use of hair gel, and cicada-like appearances at games every few years. Fuck all of them.

Some substance:

Miami's QB pretty much sucks donkey balls. I haven't seen him play, but against FAU he was only 15 of 27 for 160 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Against a ranked opponent that might not be too bad, but come on. That was against FAU. Florida's pass defense was stellar last year and there is every indication to think they will be outstanding again this year.

I think if there's a quarterback battle in this game, Driskell comes out on top. Those words may never be uttered again.

Miami's star running back, however, is the real offensive threat. He rushed 19 times for 186 yards against FAU, for an average of 9.8 ypc, and he didn't even play the whole game. He left with about 5 minutes left in the third quarter, after getting his bell rung by a defender. Florida's defense, obviously, is a little better than the Owls' (who went 3-9 last year, with losses to such notable football powerhouses as Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Louisiana-Monroe, South Alabama, Florida International and Louisiana-Lafayette).

How Duke Johnson contends against the Gators' stout run defense will be the deciding factor of the game. I'm thinking we will shut him down. He hasn't seen a D like ours before.

When I was a wee child, my dad and I went to a game between Miami and UF. We beat them 28-3. Even then, I knew it was pretty glorious.

This is ridiculous. Been in the red zone three times and came away with nothing. Driskell pick. Went for it on 4th down instead of kicking the field goal and got stuffed. And now a fumble.

We dominated them statistically. But you just can't win turning the ball over that much. That was ridiculous. There's a huge correlation in turnovers and winning games.
