I know I shouldn't visit there...but its like a car wreck. Now they're trying to have conversations in French.

At least when I posted my TWO WORDS of German they were curse words and one meant "He who can't ejaculate in a straight line."

Well, I was hoping I could get enough rep and casino cash built up that I could start ho'in it out for something of value. Like...maybe...a week of peace and quiet from stupid, saccharine sweet posts. But it didn't work out.

I had every intention of finishing my "sensitive story" day by creating a thread dedicated to Corn Hole. And asking if anyone had ever heard of it. I let Strange talk me out of it though.

I do have a question...where did the sudden puritan streak come from that's swept that place? I don't mean just the Pub...I mean all of GC? Why in the hell would they want to crack down on bikini babes in sigs/avatars? Its not just for the little kiddies...is that being driven by Ray, or Bob, or one of the writers? I just don't get it. Is it ad-revenue based?

When that little gem was uncorked, I lost all hope for the place to ever get back to being normal.

I'm sure one of the peeps here will answer your question. What surprises me is not so much about the goody-goody posts themselves but how defensive everyone is about their group over there now. If you post something racey in one of their threads they get all defensive and take it as an attack and get a whole lot of...if you don't like it, don't come here.

But if someone ignores the goody posts and starts dirty threads of their own, all of them go in there and make comments. Wait...didn't you just tell me to not comment if I don't like something? Why are you commenting in MY thread now?

There were some quality posters that I really liked over there but they were just sucked into the whole group dynamic that they bought into the idea that Rad and others were just there to cause trouble. It's like they can't think for themselves.

i'll admit - it happened to me...that's why i know it when i see it.

when the powers that be turn their backs on you, it's an eye-opening experience...and i'm not talking about recent events...i'm talking about a time i had with an iowa hawkeye issue a couple of weeks leading up to the outback...that's when i knew stuff had gotten to my head and the fact that i wasn't getting support indicated to me that i had nothing to fall back on...after that, it was every man for himself...

guys like bari and baka and shane and whoever think there's some sort of magical reward waiting somewhere if they show growl and solari how good that they can slurp it...i don't know how long it takes for them but they will one day realize that they've probably acted in a fashion that they would normally not have acted like in real life and in the end, they've not netted anything.

for me, i'm happy i've netted great friends.
